I promise a post is coming soon. It’s a personal journal blog that I hope creates light, hope and help in others lives. Aim up and don’t feel shamed that you have been stuck in the same cycles that you blame yourself for. Habits or addictions developed because of trauma or other reasons can’t be changed or made better through shame and beating yourself up. Taking responsibility for things or behaviors is different and good but shame that cripples you is not going to help you. I know because it’s the story of my journey so far because of long term trauma. Also it has taken time but with help I let go of the belief that I had to heal only with the help of therapy or my strength and will power. I’m now working with a doctor for trauma responses in my body and mind. It’s making a huge difference in my life. I’ll be writing about it more. also everyone around you may want you to keep up with appearances that your family is good. I know through my own experiences that staying quiet about painful experiences has consequences for your body soul and spirit. I hope anyone reading this that you will feel the strength to begin or continue healing and find the help you need to make it happen and the support you need.
